Before I came to Dr. Burk, I believe that I was never going to walk again. It was very difficult for me. It was very painful. My body ached, and no drugs helped relieve it. A friend of mine recommended me to Dr. Burk, and I had nothing else to lose.

When Dr. Burk did my first adjustment, I felt relief right away. That's what encouraged me to return. I was using a can to walk , and eventually in two weeks I stopped using it. It felt like a miracle. My body doesn't ache anymore, and now I can do things I thought I wasn't ever going to do again, like attend my home garden.

Dr. Burk has been my doctor for 90 days. I went to him for a back problem (ruptured disc). I was able to walk without pain after four treatments… so I mentioned my neck injury I had received a year earlier.
I had been having headache's, lost some vision in my left eye, both shoulders and arms were in pain all the time, also the fingers on both hands were numb. I had lost some strength and control of my left arm. I am now writing this on 9-11-97 and my arms, shoulders, hands, and headache problems are gone and my left eye is improving.

Twenty years ago I slipped on the locker room floor at school, which resulted in two weeks of traction. In those twenty years, I've had my neck x-rayed 3 times and had seen a number of doctors and chiropractors resulting in more frustration. I first came to Dr Burk because I had been to every kind of doctor there was to find out what was wrong and to stop the pain. No one could help. All they would do is give me more pills. I was having seizures three times a day, had lost my driver's license, and was on three different types of medication. Nothing was working. Dr Burk ran a scan on my back, and everything was so bad it was off the chart. Dr Burk explained what everything meant and after several adjustments I started to notice changes. My seizures had stopped being so out of control, the headaches were less, and I even noticed that my jaw didn't crack and pop like it used to. On the 11th month of 1996 I was injured on the job and was sent to see the Work Comp Doctor. He sent me to physical therapy for strained Rotator Cuff, this treatment just increased the pain. After about 5 months of x-rays and drugs I was then sent to a surgeon who said the joint in my shoulder needs to be removed and a piece of bone also. I then got a second opinion from Dr. Burk.
I now have been seen by Dr. Burk for 6 weeks and I feel great and I wish that I would have come here first.

Dr Burk is very kind and radiates in a manner that set me at ease right away. My apprehension passed quickly. I feel that he knows his craft well and performs admirably.

In just two short months I have experiences a huge relief of pain. I was experiencing numbness in my left hand, a pinching sensation in my neck, and soreness in my shoulder.
