the light side:
A guy goes on vacation to the Holy Land with
his wife and mother-in-law.
The mother-in-law dies.
They go to an undertaker who explains that
they can ship
the body home but that it'll cost over $5000, whereas they
can bury her in the Holy Land for only $150.
The guy says, "We'll ship her home."
The undertaker asks, "Are you sure? That's
an awfully big expense and we can do a very nice burial here."
The guy says, "Look, 2000 years ago they
buried a guy here and three days later he rose from the dead.
I just can't take that chance! "

On Saturday, September 20, 2003, Chiropractic offices worldwide
will be participating in “Kids
Day America/International.”
This is a special day dedicated to children’s health,
safety, and environmental awareness in our community.
As we planned for last years “Kids Day America/International,”
our goal was to create an occasion, which would clearly have
a beneficial and lasting impact on our community. We decided
that the best way to achieve this goal was to get the whole
community actively participating in the event. We very effectively
accomplished this and much, much more…Together we provided
DNA kits and ID cards, drug awareness literature, environmental
awareness information and the importance of chiropractic care
for children. We were able to host more than 300 people with
your help.
As a local Chiropractor, I spend a lot of time both inside
and outside my practice helping children. It is for this reason
that I chose to sponsor this monumental event in Woodland.
We will provide essential information to all attendees on
crime prevention, child safety and environmental issues.
Our office will perform free spinal exams and scoliosis
screenings and we will distribute information on disease prevention
and health promotion. There will be special appearances by
“Chiro Bear”.The police department along with
the DARE car and the Fire Department will make an appearance.
We will also provide free balloons, snacks,
and giveaways along with prize drawings!
