About Dr Burk:

Dr. Burk is a native Californian with a family of four, living and serving the community of Woodland. He graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. While a student at the college, he served as the Vice President of the Christian Chiropractic Association, was a member of the Motion Palpation and Soft tissues Clubs, and assisted Dr. Phil Harvey with the publication of a textbook to be issued for the nutrition classes.

Dr Burk studied further with the Gooing Chiropractic Center in Newport Beach, California, and then spent time serving an associate-ship at the Waterloo Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Central California. He has practiced Chiropractic in Woodland since November 1990. He continues his training through seminars in sports injuries, Palmer Methods, activator techniques and chiropractic research. He specializes in correcting subluxation, maintaining proper body mechanics and treating acute conditions such as those related to sports, auto accidents and work related injuries.

Dr. Burk is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, Christian Chiropractic Association and Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation. He is a participating health professional for Blue Shield of California.

Some Personal Thoughts:

"The way the human body was designed never ceases to amaze me. The capability of this incredible machine to keep itself healthy and to heal itself from injuries is astounding. But like all other pieces of machinery, it too needs to be serviced and maintained on a regular basis. I believe that through chiropractic knowledge and practice, God has given me the ability to assist in maintaining your body's full potential for complete health."

As Chiropractic Assistants, we make every effort to keep pour office running smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a positive and friendly environment for our patients.

Our office provides billing services for many insurance plans, as well as Medicare, Workers' Compensation claims, Auto accident claims and personal injury claims.

We not only manage the administrative operations of our office, but we have received training in our positions as Chiropractic assistants allowing us to assist Dr. Burk with therapy procedures. We enjoy being able to provide relief and comfot to our patients so their experience in our office is a pleasant one.

Julie Mauldin has been with Burk Chiropractic since September 2002 and Christi Proctor has been with Burk Chiropractic since July 2002.
